A note from Ed Hunter, Founder and 'Head Coach'

Ed Hunter, MBA

Ed Hunter, MBA, is the founder of Life In Progress Coaching. Trained by COACH U's Advanced Coaching Program, he is an experienced career and work/life coach. He specializes in working with successful individuals who are seeking:

  • More success in their business/career
  • A new, more fulfilling career
  • Healthy, rewarding balance between work, home and "self"

Ed brings over twenty years of professional experience to his coaching. He has worked for the last eight years as an independent career and executive coach, and as Vice President, Career Services with The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Previously, he worked for MapQuest, and Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in a variety of marketing and management positions.

Ed is a member of the Association of Career Professionals International, and a board member of the Philadelphia chapter. He is a member of the International Coach Federation and The Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance. He is a qualified Administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator© (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory© career assessment instruments.

Ed is married and the parent of two children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching baseball, sipping a fine wine, doing yoga… and laughing. He loves the balance of his own work/life!

Ed coaches clients via phone and email. He also offers in-person coaching at his offices in Philadelphia and Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA.
